4Based · Chats · Media · Posts and reels
Unly helps you organize a 4Based account with AI chatting settings, media management and separate automations for posts and reels. Start by defining what you can offer, which fans the agent should handle and what needs your review. Read and handle conversations in 4Based’s native inbox; use Unly to configure the work and inspect account activity.
A well-run account should make the next action clear. If a fan asks about a video, you need its description and price. If a reel has already been published, you need to know where it belongs. If someone asks for a custom arrangement, you need a person who can decide what to promise.
Give each part of the account a clear job
4Based account management, often called 4Based OFM, covers messages, media, offers, publishing and performance review. The creator defines the content and boundaries. A manager or solo creator turns those decisions into instructions that stay usable from one day to the next.
Decide the purpose of each item before you upload or schedule it. A public preview introduces the account. A paid video needs an accurate offer. A conversation helps you understand which content the fan wants. The official 4Based creator guide says that only free content can be considered for Trends, so discovery content needs its own place in your plan.
| Part of the account | Decision to make | What to prepare |
|---|---|---|
| Chatting | Which fans should the agent handle, and how should it speak? | Creator profile, language and tone in Unly; include the audience you want the agent to handle or exclude fans you manage manually. |
| Media offers | What exactly can the fan buy? | A clear description, base price and active status for each item or pack. |
| Posts and reels | Which ready content belongs in each publishing stream? | Separate media folders, compatible captions and schedules checked against the account’s time zone. |
| Follow-ups | What unfinished exchange is worth returning to? | Relevant wording and timing; a review of how the messages fit the native conversation. |
| Account review | What should change next? | The selected period’s media activity, actual publications and the conversations behind those actions. |
For the broader role of a manager, read what creator account management involves. For 4Based, use the table above as your setup brief.
Set up one account before adding more
Prepare a complete set of ready content: media with accurate descriptions, files for the post and reel folders, and instructions for handling conversations. Check these together before enabling the work.
Connect the 4Based account
In Unly, add an account, choose 4Based and complete the connection. Open that account’s configuration so the media and rules you prepare belong to the right creator.
Write the creator’s brief
Set the profile, language and conversation instructions. Give concrete guidance: “Keep replies short. Ask which video they mean if the request is unclear. Do not promise a custom shoot or a delivery date.” Choose the inclusion option for the audience you want the agent to handle, or the exclusion option for fans whose conversations you manage yourself.
Prepare the available offers
Write each description in the creator’s voice and make it specific enough to distinguish the item. Check its base price and active status. For example: “Two-minute video of me at the studio shoot, showing my outfit and how the photos were made.” Confirm that the file matches that description.
Configure publication separately from chat
Prepare the post and reel folders, captions and publishing times. Configure Mass DM separately. A new posting time should not automatically become another message to every fan.
Review the first actions
Read the native conversations and open the published content in 4Based. Check the wording, media, price and timing. If a conversation needs intervention, pause the account’s agent before replying manually.
The guide to AI replies and media pricing explains how to make the offer and the conversation rules agree.
Separate paid media from publishing folders
A file ready for sale is not automatically ready for a public post. Keep the complete paid content separate from previews, and keep unfinished edits out of the publishing source folders. This gives the person preparing the account a clear rule for where each file goes.
Unly gives 4Based posts and reels their own source and published folders. The streams have separate schedules and a recycling action for returning published media to the source. Review the pool before recycling it so a dated caption or an old announcement does not start another cycle.
Posts: ready post media → post source folder → scheduled publication → post published folder.
Reels: ready reel media → reel source folder → scheduled publication → reel published folder.
Before reuse: review the published pool → remove outdated items → recycle the selected stream when its content is ready again.
Read the folder names and time zone shown in your account’s settings. Check the native post or reel after publication. A file in the source folder tells you it is available to the automation; the published item tells you what the fan actually sees.
Unly picks available media and a caption at random, so every caption needs to fit every item in that publishing folder. “Which detail caught your eye?” can fit several approved studio images. “The full video drops tonight” needs a confirmed release and the matching preview. Reserve date-specific announcements for a plan you can check individually.
Use the last exchange to choose the next message
A relevant offer starts with the fan’s request. Answer the question, identify the available item and explain what it contains. If the request is ambiguous, clarify it before presenting a price.
What this resolves: the creator identifies the requested item and answers the question using its prepared description. The next offer can use that item’s configured price.
In Unly, the text accompanying a media offer, the sentence after sending media and the follow-up after silence serve different purposes. Prepare each for its job. The first explains the offer, the second continues the exchange, and the follow-up returns to something left unfinished.
If the fan has not answered which video they mean, a follow-up can return to that question: “Was it the outfit video or the behind-the-scenes clip?” Once they have answered, move on. Repeating an offer after “No thanks” ignores a decision already made. Set Unly’s follow-up delay and add examples to guide the tone and angle; the agent does not copy them word for word. Review actual conversations to check how those settings are being used. See following up without spamming fans for more examples.
For custom requests, complaints or a promise that needs a creator’s decision, pause the account’s agent and reply in 4Based. Review the conversation before resuming. Keep someone responsible for this review; the pause applies to the account’s agent.
Mass DM has a separate job: an update or announcement for an audience. The 4Based guide to mass messages recommends no more than two per day because excessive frequency can feel like spam. Coordinate that setting with your posts and reels, and give every broadcast a specific reason to exist.
Check what happened before changing the setup
Open the account’s media statistics in Unly and choose a period. Start with Paid sends, Unique offers, Purchases and Reached fans. If sends increase without more unique offers, check whether the same offers are being sent again. Then read a few native conversations and open the corresponding posts and reels to understand the actions behind the figures.
- An offer reached a fan: does its description answer their request, and does the price match the prepared item?
- An offer did not become a purchase: check for an unclear description, a mismatch or a stated refusal before changing the price.
- A follow-up was sent: did it return to an unfinished question, or repeat something the fan had already declined?
- A post or reel went live: are the media, caption, audience and timing correct, and is the publishing pool still ready for the next cycle?
Change the setting that explains the problem you found. An unclear media description needs a better description. A dated post needs a revised publishing pool. A custom request needs a human decision. Review sales activity alongside the native platform’s payout statement when you need to distinguish sales from what you receive.
Start with a workflow you can review
Open your 4Based account’s configuration to check the publishing times and ready content folders. Then review recent native conversations for unclear offers, unanswered questions and requests that need your decision.
