A practical MYM readiness checklist
Your MYM account is ready for automation when someone can tell what to offer, at what price, in your voice, and when to leave the conversation to you. In Unly, you can configure the agent’s personality, prepare media descriptions and prices, select the fans it handles and pause it from the account list. Get those decisions clear before activating it.
MYM combines conversations, private media, posts and pushes. If the library is disorganised or a follow-up repeats yesterday’s offer, faster replies will carry that confusion into more conversations. Prepare a small, usable workflow first; add more content once it is easy to manage.
Check what the agent would have to guess
Open your media library, a few recent conversations in MYM’s inbox and your publication schedule. Use the table to find missing decisions. Each row should have something you can point to: a saved description, a price, a written rule or a prepared post.
| Area | Ready when… | Prepare first if… |
|---|---|---|
| Content | You can find and describe each item you want to offer. | Files have vague names or the description does not match the media. |
| Prices | Each offer has a saved price and you know which requests need a personal quote. | You choose a price from scratch in every conversation. |
| Voice | Your tone, vocabulary and boundaries are written down. | The only instruction is “sound like me”. |
| Follow-ups | You have decided when to follow up and what should stop another offer. | You send another sales message without reading the previous exchange. |
| Publications | Posts and pushes have media, captions, audiences and a schedule. | You cannot tell whether a fan is already receiving the same promotion elsewhere. |
If a row is incomplete, fix that part before giving the agent more conversations. You can still connect the account and prepare it. A backlog of unanswered messages gives you a reason to organise the workflow; it does not supply the missing prices or rules.
Make a small media library usable
Choose a few items you are comfortable selling now. Check the files themselves, then describe their contents and set their prices in Unly. Leave unfinished or unsuitable items inactive while you prepare them.
Identify the content
Use a clear collection name such as “Red dress portraits”. Check whether the offer is a single photo, a video or a set. A file named “final2” tells you very little during a busy conversation.
Describe what is there
Write from the creator’s perspective. Unly requires at least nine words and a first-person description. For a matching photo: Photo of me wearing a red dress beside the bedroom window.
Decide how to use it
Save a price and check the active setting. Decide whether the content is for a paid offer, a free preview or a post, then keep that choice consistent with your captions and messages.
A useful internal description identifies the media. Keep claims such as “made just for you” out of a description for an existing photo. A fan asking for new custom content needs a separate decision about whether you can make it and what you will charge.

Write your voice and follow-up boundaries
In Unly’s personality settings, write the biography in the second person. Give concrete instructions about tone and facts the agent may use: You write short, friendly replies. You avoid pet names. You describe available content clearly and never promise a custom shoot without confirmation.
Keep factual details accurate; the agent needs a usable description of the creator.
Prepare a follow-up rule alongside that voice. For example: allow one follow-up the next day after an unanswered offer, then stop if the fan stays silent or refuses. For that next-day wait, keep automatic follow-ups off and handle the reminder manually in MYM; Unly’s automatic delay choices cover 2–30 minutes. Review past purchases before proposing the same item again.
Review point: the reply refers to a prepared photo and checks the request before making an offer. Compare it with the actual media description.
Review point: a request for new content needs your decision. The reply leaves availability, price and delivery unconfirmed until you review it.
Write down who checks custom requests, complaints and conversations outside the account’s boundaries. In Unly, custom alert rules can flag situations you want to review. Check that your chosen rule and action match the case you want to catch. Use the follow-up guide to turn timing and stop conditions into a consistent routine.
Coordinate messages, posts and pushes
Give each part of the account a clear job. MYM’s automatic messages cover events such as a new subscription or a renewal. Check which ones are already active before writing another welcome message.
- Welcome: explain what the fan can find. Write an introduction that matches the profile and current content. Read the native welcome message alongside your planned conversation opening.
- Conversation: respond to the request. Prepare the Unly agent’s voice and available offers. Review how it handles a question, a refusal and a request that needs you.
- Publication: choose the audience and time. Prepare the media and caption, then check whether a post or push overlaps with a conversation offer.
MYM provides scheduling for posts and pushes. Its content guide distinguishes feed content, private requests and group pushes. Keep those uses clear when preparing your library.
Prepare the MYM posting workflow in Unly
Unly includes MYM posting automations. Prepare the relevant collections and captions, then review the posting settings. Choose either Unly or MYM’s native scheduler for each post, so the same content is not scheduled twice. Prepare and schedule pushes separately in MYM. The MYM posting guide covers this part of the setup.
Launch with a scope you can review
Start with one MYM account, a prepared library and selected fans. That gives you enough context to inspect the complete exchange and fix a missing rule before expanding.
- Connect and prepare. Add the MYM account in Unly. Complete the personality, media descriptions and prices before activating the agent.
- Select the fans. Choose allowlist mode and include only the fans in your initial scope. Leave conversations you handle personally outside that list. Exclusion mode is a separate option when you want to cover a wider audience.
- Check the pause control. Find the agent pause and resume controls in the account list so you can stop replies while correcting the setup.
- Review replies and offers together. Read the fan’s request, the answer and any media offered in MYM’s native inbox. Check the content, price, tone and whether the case needed your attention.
- Check sales over the same period. Review sales and conversion in Unly’s account statistics, then read the conversations behind any problem in MYM before changing the setup.
- Expand after corrections. Fix the relevant rule or media detail, review new exchanges, then add more fans or content.
Use the creator dashboard guide to decide which numbers deserve attention. A reply count shows activity; the conversation shows whether the offer matched the request. Check both before changing prices.
