A practical setup for your creator business
Unly gives you a creator brief, media descriptions and prices, fan scope, reply timing and sales statistics. Use those controls to make your offers clear and keep the account under your direction. Start with the platform you manage, then build the setup.
Connect OnlyFans and prepare your agent
Choose OnlyFans when adding an account in Unly and complete the connection. Confirm the creator account, then define its voice and instructions, prepare the media and prices, and choose the fans the agent handles. Activate the agent to handle the conversations and media offers for your chosen fans.
| Your goal | Practical next step | What to decide first |
|---|---|---|
| Answer routine fan messages | Set the creator’s voice, reply timing and fan scope. | Which conversations should the agent handle? |
| Prepare media offers | Describe the catalogue and set the media prices. | Does each description match the content the fan receives? |
| Take over a conversation | Pause the account’s agent and read the thread in OnlyFans. | Who handles the request and decides when to resume? |
If you manage MYM too, start with Unly’s MYM chatbot page. For a broader team workflow, see Unly’s OFM software.
Give Unly a brief that sounds like the creator
Unly lets you set creator information, personality and instructions for each account. Make those instructions concrete enough to check against a reply: sentence length, level of familiarity, words the creator uses and commitments that need their decision.
Voice instructions
“Keep replies short and warm. Use everyday English. Answer the fan’s question before introducing an offer. Avoid pet names unless they fit the existing conversation.”
This tells a reviewer what a suitable reply looks like. “Be authentic” gives them much less to work with.
Offer instructions
“Describe only the media available in the catalogue. Do not promise a custom video or delivery date until I have confirmed it. Keep a declined offer out of the next sales message.”
Write the creator’s actual limits here. A prompt can guide the reply; review still belongs to the person responsible for the account.
For detailed setup choices, read how to customize Unly replies and PPV pricing.
Prepare the catalogue before writing the pitch
Unly lets you describe media, set each item’s base price and organize media into scripts or packs. Start with the content itself. A useful description distinguishes one item from another and gives the person handling the chat enough information to explain the offer.

The description is in the creator’s first person, identifies the format and explains what appears in the video. Replace the details with what the media actually contains before saving it. Keep the sales message separate from this catalogue description.
Set the base price on the media item. Unly also provides a global percentage adjustment for the catalogue. If a base price is 20 and you apply +10%, the adjusted price is 22 in the same currency. Check the displayed adjusted price before saving the change.
- Content: check the file against its description before it becomes an offer.
- Price: confirm both the item’s base price and the catalogue adjustment.
- Script: check the order of its messages and media before using the sequence.
- Promise: remove any wording that adds content, a custom request or a delivery time the creator has not approved.
The PPV pricing guide helps you distinguish a pricing problem from an offer that does not match the fan’s request.
Know what each Unly agent control does
Configure the account’s fan scope, reply timing and follow-ups. Decide which conversations the agent handles and how it responds before widening its scope.
Fan scope
Choose one mode: all fans, an inclusion list or an exclusion list. An inclusion list limits the agent to named fans; an exclusion list keeps named fans outside its scope. The modes are alternatives. Pick the one that matches the fans you want the agent to handle.
Reply timing
Set the response delay for the account. Choose a rhythm you can review in the native conversation. Timing does not fix an answer that ignores the question or describes the wrong media.
| Message moment | Its job | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Text attached to the media | Explain the content offered with that media. | The wording matches the file and the offer. |
| Sentence after the media | Continue the conversation after the media is sent. | It does not assume the fan has already purchased. |
| Follow-up after silence | Return to an unanswered exchange. | It has a useful reason and does not restart a declined offer. |
Unly’s silence follow-up delay choices are 2, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30 minutes. Follow-up examples guide the style of the reply; they are not a promise that the same sentence will be copied every time. Review the message after it is sent. See how to follow up without spamming for the difference between silence and refusal.
Keep control of your OnlyFans conversations
Keep a person responsible for reviewing the agent’s conversations. Read and answer fans in OnlyFans’ native messaging. Pause the agent manually at account level before intervening, then use the thread to check what was actually said.
Pause the account’s agent
Use the manual account-level pause before you start replying. Assign one person to resolve the exchange.
Read the full conversation
Check the latest request, the media offered and any commitment already made. A custom request, an unclear offer or a complaint needs a decision before another pitch.
Fix the source of the problem
Correct the brief, media description, price or script that caused the mismatch. If a fan should remain manual, use the appropriate scope mode to keep them outside the agent’s conversations.
Decide whether to resume
Resume only after the responsible person has resolved the issue and checked the account settings. Human takeover is a manual decision.
Use Unly’s account statistics to review sales and media performance over a selected period, then read the associated conversations in the platform. A sales total does not tell you whether an offer was accurate. Check native payout figures separately when assessing what the platform paid you. The creator KPI guide explains which figures to compare.
Start with a setup you can review
Create your Unly account, connect OnlyFans and prepare the creator brief, media descriptions and base prices. Give each account an owner, check its fan scope and review the first conversations before expanding.
