Replies, media offers and follow-ups
Unly lets you automate MYM chat and sell prepared private media through a configurable AI agent. Connect your account, define its voice, describe your media and set their prices. Then read the conversations in MYM and review sales in Unly to see what needs adjusting.
The setup starts with your content. If a video is missing, a description is vague or a price is wrong, more replies will carry the same problem into more conversations. This guide walks you through the catalog, the agent settings and the checks that make an offer clear to a fan.
What should you automate on MYM?
Start with everyday replies and offers for content you already have. Keep requests that require new filming, a promise about delivery or a decision outside your usual limits for your own review. This gives Unly a defined catalog to work with while you handle new commitments.
| The situation | The right setup | What you check |
|---|---|---|
| A subscriber joins or renews | Review your existing MYM automatic messages and your chat greeting. | One clear welcome, with consistent promises about what the subscription includes. |
| A fan asks about an existing video or photo set | Describe the content in Unly, set its price and enable it. | The proposed media matches the request and is ready to send. |
| A fan asks for a new personalized recording | Review the request yourself before accepting or quoting a delivery date. | You can produce exactly what was requested within the agreed terms. |
| A fan disputes what they received | Pause the account's AI and check the offer against the files. | Your answer addresses the purchase instead of proposing another sale. |
MYM automatic messages cover subscription events, including joining and renewal. A configured Unly agent handles the ongoing conversation. Check both before launch so your greeting and sales rules agree.
Also check the platform setting itself: MYM says free-form chat depends on the creator enabling CHAT mode. An account connection and an open text conversation are separate checks.
Make every media item easy to understand
In Unly, describe the content, set its price, write the message sent with it, and check that the item is enabled. You can also set a day or night preference for individual media. Watch the whole video or inspect every photo first: a thumbnail cannot tell you whether a clip has sound or what happens after its opening frame.
Describe the file
For a silent red-dress clip, a useful description could be: Video of me in a red dress, turning toward the mirror in my bedroom. Two minutes, no sound, with my face visible.
Use those details only if they match the file. The description tells the agent what can be offered.
Write the offer separately
The message to the fan can be shorter: I have a two-minute red-dress video from that shoot. It is silent, with my face visible. Want to see it?
Keep the content facts in the description and the invitation in the sending message.
Check a pack as one purchase
If a pack contains four photos, describe the four photos and their differences. A detail shown in one image should not be promised for the whole set.
An Unly pack contains up to five files in one offer; a script orders separate offers. Check the pack price and every included file together.
Write short, factual descriptions in the first person, starting with Photo of me…
, Video of me…
or Pack of…
. Mention meaningful limits such as no sound or a face out of frame. If Unly generates a description for you, correct it against the actual content before activating the item.
Check prices on media outside scripts too. A paid item left at zero changes the offer into a free send. For a closer look at pricing rules, read how to customize AI replies and control PPV prices.
Configure Unly in this order
- Connect MYM. Add the account in Unly, choose MYM and complete the connection steps shown. Confirm the account is connected before enabling its agent.
- Define the creator's voice. Fill in the personality and biography settings with accurate account information. Set the language and emoji preferences so replies fit the way you write.
- Set response behavior. Review the response delay and AI availability. Choose a schedule that fits how you want the account to operate.
- Prepare the media. Check descriptions, prices and whether each item is enabled. Add sending messages where they help explain the content.
- Choose the sequence. Use individual media for standalone offers. Enable Strict script compliance when you want the agent to follow the saved sales script exactly; review the whole sequence before enabling it.
- Review follow-ups and pause controls. Set whether follow-ups are enabled, their delay and their wording. Locate the account pause before you need to take over personally.
Connect one account and review its setup first. Once the catalog and replies are consistent, apply the same review to the next account. The MYM account preparation checklist covers the checks to make before activation.
Move from the fan's request to a clear offer
A useful sales conversation identifies what the fan wants, then offers content that fits. Ask a short question when the request is vague. When the fan already names a specific video, answer that request directly.
Unly offers the prepared media using your configured pricing. When you review the exchange in MYM, check that the request, offered file, price and description agree.
The clarification changes the offer: the fan chose a video and asked about sound, so those details belong in the answer. If the fan declines, a reply such as No problem, we can leave it there.
closes the offer without starting another pitch.
If the fan instead asks, Can you record a new version and say my name?
, review it yourself. That request involves producing new content. MYM's private media guidance gives you a maximum of 72 hours after the fan accepts and pays to deliver content matching the request. Confirm what you can make before accepting.
Use scripts for progression and follow-ups for context
A script is useful when each step adds something the previous one did not offer. Start with a short sequence you can review in one sitting, and add another step only if its content earns its place.
- First offer: a photo set matching the fan's interest.
- Next offer: a video from the same theme, with new content and a higher price that you set.
- Optional pack: a different set of files that makes sense as one purchase.
Review the full order, file contents and prices. Avoid adding nearly identical media to lengthen the sequence, and avoid a price that rises then falls without a clear reason. If you use a free introduction, one is enough to introduce the theme before a paid offer.
Unly lets you enable follow-ups, set their delay and add your own wording examples. Its buyers-only option refers to buyers known in Unly's recorded sales. Review that audience setting instead of assuming it includes every historical MYM buyer.
For example, Were you after the photos or the video from that shoot?
can clarify an unanswered choice. It adds nothing after the fan has said they do not want either. Read how to follow up with fans without spam before adding more reminders.
Review the conversation and the purchase together
Select a period in Unly's creator statistics and review sales, average basket and paid-media unlock trends. Check which content attracts purchases and whether the offers being bought have changed in price. Then read the corresponding conversations in MYM to understand what the fans asked for.
| What you observe | What to inspect | The next change |
|---|---|---|
| Conversations continue without a relevant offer | Whether the catalog contains the requested content and describes it clearly. | Add the missing content or correct its description. |
| Fans repeatedly ask what is included | The media description and the message accompanying the offer. | Name the format, contents and meaningful limits. |
| Fans decline the offered content | Whether it matches their stated interest and budget. | Correct the match before changing the price. |
| A request needs manual correction | The promise made, the file proposed and the account settings. | Pause the account, resolve the request, then correct the setup. |
Compare equivalent periods on the same account and note changes to traffic, promotions and the catalog. Change one setting at a time so you can identify what deserves a second test. Use your MYM earnings statement separately when checking what the platform pays out.
The creator dashboard KPI guide helps you choose the next check from your sales data.
Your first launch checklist
- Account: MYM is connected and the platform's CHAT setting matches your intended workflow.
- Voice: personality, language, emojis, response delay and availability have been reviewed.
- Catalog: each active item has accurate content details, the intended price and the right files.
- Sequence: scripts have a useful order; follow-ups have wording and a delay you have chosen.
- Control: you know how to pause and resume the account for a correction.
- Review: you have saved the current sales figures and scheduled time to read the first conversations.
Start with content you can confidently sell. Prepare it in Unly, configure the agent, and review its first conversations. Expand the catalog when those checks are clear.
